The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) Spring 2024 Faculty Satisfaction Survey

The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE), administered by the Harvard Graduate School of Education, is a national survey designed to collect information from  faculty (tenured, pre-tenured, and professional track) on a range of issues identified as critical to their success, and to provide peer data to institutions to enhance their recruitment and retention efforts. This page points to information about and results from this study. Additional reports and presentations will be added as they become available.

Dashboard
An interactive dashboard with results from the Spring 2024 COACHE survey, filterable by tenure track status (tenure track, professional track), tenure status (tenure track only; tenured vs pre-tenured), rank (tenure track faculty only; full, associate, assistant), rank (all faculty; full, associate, assistant), gender and race/ethnicity. Also included are results for NC State overall vs our aggregated COACHE peer group.

All data in these reports come from the COACHE Faculty Satisfaction Survey, a national survey administered by the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
