NC State Qualtrics Transitions To Single Sign-On

NC State is requiring that all Qualtrics accounts transition to Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication to better align with university security standards. Starting on Nov. 1, 2026, all Qualtrics account holders must use their standard NC State Unity credentials to log in, and all Qualtrics usernames must match an official [email protected] address. 

NC State’s Qualtrics brand administrators have identified over 800 accounts with usernames that do not match a [email protected] address. If your account username does not match your [email protected] address, you will receive an email outlining the actions you must take to enable the brand administrators to update your account. If this may apply to your account, please be on the lookout for an email from “NC State Qualtrics Brand Administrators” and follow the instructions to access your online form. The deadline for providing the requested information is Oct. 1, 2026.

Qualtrics accounts with invalid usernames will not be accessible after the transition to SSO.

Processing hundreds of account updates takes time. If you do not submit the form by Oct. 1, the brand administrators cannot guarantee your account will be updated before the November 1 SSO deadline, which will result in a disruption to your access to your Qualtrics account.
